Brenda Nunes, Associate Broker, GreenWorks Realty  is uniquely situated to conduct sales and marketing for the homes at Rocky Top near Yakima, Washington. Invited to lecture across the country about this unique home, she has helped to demystify the processes and products available to builders, developers and consumers interested in adopting sustainable practices.

Ben Kaufman, Founder, Owner & Broker, GreenWorks Realty Ben has been active in low impact land development, education, marketing and selling real estate for 15 years. Ben is the Founder and Designated Broker of GreenWorks Realty, a real estate brokerage and land development firm specializing in environmentally friendly homes and community-focused real estate developments, and has managed over $80 Million in real estate transactions.  Ben uses his vision and passion to promote GreenWork’s mission to improve the livability and sustainability of our community.  He is also a manager and investor of a 32-home low impact and sustainable community entitled development in Newcastle, WA.  Ben’s recent achievements include drafting the Environmental Certification checkbox additions to his local MLS (Northwest Multiple Listing Service) and authoring the first study using MLS data to compare environmentally certified homes to non-certified homes in the United States.  Kim TurnquistDesignated Broker, Creekside Realty. Kim and her husband Mark, along with their son Max, moved to Yakima in 2002 to join her father in real estate.  A rare, once in a lifetime opportunity, Kim has really enjoyed the countless hours she has gotten to spend with her dad.   Since moving to Yakima Kim has specialized in the area of new construction sales and has obtained her Ecobroker Designation in 2009.  Her desire to help her clients purchase energy efficient homes and assist the builders she represent use renewable products is why she has invested many hours into increasing her knowledge to help do her part in creating environmentally “Green” homes.

Kim obtained her real estate license first in Salem, OR where she was a licensed assistant and office manager for a small real estate company.     Since 2003, Kim has been a Top Company and Top Residential producer for a large real estate company and is currently the designated Broker and part owner of Creekside Realty. Prior to moving to Yakima, Kim worked in the field of Occupational Therapy in Minnesota, Washington and Oregon.  Kim uses the knowledge she obtained while working in this field to help her clients find and/or build homes that functionally fit their lifestyles.

Kim enjoys spending time with her family, walking the golf course with her husband and son, watching her son play baseball and basketball, playing with her golden retriever, working out in the yard and traveling to Nebraska and Minnesota for family visits.  Kim also enjoys supporting her community by volunteering whenever possible at her son’s school and is proud to have Creekside Realty as a sponsor with KNDO television station for the spring Northwest Harvest food drive.
